Good news biatches I'm back and starting a new year with talking about Smashbox always sharp waterproof kohl eyeliner. It comes in 7 shades: raven (black), French navy, Sumatra (brown), storm (grey or gray if you're reading this across the pond), cabana (green), violetta (plum) and bare (nude) and are the lazy girls DREAM! Can't find your sharpener? Know where it is but can't be bothered to go get it? Doing your makeup in the car and haven't got time to mess around as you had to have those extra 10mins in bed? No problem. Some bright spark built the sharpener into the cap so everytime you twist it to remove it it will automatically get sharpened. Oh yeah it's borderline genius. I bought the black and the plum to try out-£16 at smashbox in Boots or online- and they are great ! Compares to Urban Decays 24/7 eyeliners in terms of smoothness when applying and I got a good 9 hours wear out of them (with a primer on the lid) it's water proof, waterline safe and an acceptable product for tight lining (though I must admit MAC's fluid line is still my number 1 choice)
Being waterproof I bet you're thinking sounds great but I bet it's a bugger to remove- uh no! It's surprisingly easy. I have eyelash extensions and the one thing I can't do is get in there and scrub my eyes like the kitchen floor as my lashes come out. ( like you normally have to do with waterproof products) All you need to remove it is gentley wipe over it with a makeup remover wipe.
I do wish there were more colours available though. I feel they are all very "serious" colours. It's almost summer (apparently- if we don't all drown first) where's the metallic silver? The sea green? Come on smashbox lighten up and have some fun
