and here was me thinking dot to dot was a kids game....

So I finally got hold of  both the Carins and Burjois 3 dot eyeliners. I  was really excited so do a little comparing and contrasting as I love a new fad and what better product to start with than "the product that makes messy eyeliner a thing of the past"
The idea is that you dot the felt tip like pen around your upper and lower lash line trying to stay as close as you can to the root of your lashes and that, along with your mascara, gives the illusion of longer and thicker lashes.
First of all whats the difference between the two? The answer is...not much. The only difference is the Clarins one is more of a intense colour so if you are into statement makeup it's worth splurging and buying the Clarins.

They both only come in black but since you are dotting the eyeliner on and want it almost in the roots of your lashes the lack of colour choice isn't a problem or issue and they both last through out a busy day.
Is it worth buying? Well in one word yes! We all have days when we don't have the time to spend as long as we want on our makeup (I refuse to believe I'm the only lazy person out there who takes my alarm going off as a personal insult) and this is ideal for those days when you want to make a effort but just don't have the time to do the full monty
